CHBE 552: ENERGY CONVERSION AND APPL

This course will give an overview of various unconventional and renewable energy resources and technical challenges facing their production and usage. Issues around energy security, sustainability and affordability will be addressed. In addition, the role of disruptive innovations on energy systems will be discussed. The student will develop both a global and regional view on energy production. Recommended Prerequisite(s): CHBE 411 or CHBE 412 or MECH 200
