NSCI 591: AEROSPACE ENVIRONMENTS

Graduate course on aerospace environments, including theoretical bases. Topics include key mission phases, orbital mechanics, the effects of the sun, plasma, particles and ionizing radiation, neutral atmosphere, contamination, micrometeoroid/orbital debris, thermal and aerothermal environments.
