CEVE 524: SYSTEM RELIABILITY METHODS
Fall 2024 · Section 001 · CRN 16534
Students will learn computational simulation and theoretical techniques for the reliability assessment of engineered systems as a function of their component failure probabilities. We will explore time-dependent and algorithmic system reliability, and will use modern structural infrastructure systems as case studies, including power systems, wind turbines, bridges, and buildings. Extra provisions for graduate students in assignments, exams, and projects. Cross-list: CEVE 424. Mutually Exclusive: Cannot register for CEVE 524 if student has credit for CEVE 424.
