ARTS 301: BEGINNING PAINTING

This course introduces students to the basic language, tools, and materials of painting. Students will learn painting techniques and concepts, starting with painting from observation and ending with more student-directed projects. Lectures and filed trips will explore painting through an art historical context as well as a contemporary one. Cross-list: ARTS 301.
