POLI 573: GENDER AND WAR

How does gender affect the onset, conclusion and experience of violent conflict? The class introduces students to major concepts and debates in this field. Students will learn to view social science questions through a gendered lens. This course focuses heavily on the research process, culminating in an original research proposal.
