Examining major texts from Cicero's De Officiis (CCE 44) to Locke's Two Treatises (1689 CE) shows how significant political questions emerged from specific historical contexts and developed over time. Writing intensive. Students will have weekly meetings in groups of three at an agreed-upon time (inclusive of the regular class meeting time).
