HUMA 505: GRAD INTERNSHIP SEMINAR
Summer 2026 · Section 901 · CRN 31353
This one-credit seminar accompanies the Public Humanities Graduate Internship Program and provides a structured space for graduate student interns to critically reflect on their experiences, develop professional narratives, and engage with peers. Over six meetings across the 12-week summer internship, students participate in guided discussions informed by theoretical frameworks, analytical reflection exercises, and professional development activities. Through critical readings on public humanities and labor structures, students articulate their knowledge, experiences, and skills for diverse professional paths. The course culminates in a presentation on a workplace challenge, workshopped into a resource for future behavioral interviews. Requires a concurrent graduate-level summer internship. Repeatable for Credit.
