MECH 411: DYNAMICS & CONTROL OF MECH SYS
Fall 2026 · Section 001 · CRN 16124
The application of the principles of kinematics, dynamics and systems and control theory to the design and analysis of controlled mechanical systems. Kinematics and Newtonian dynamics of particles and rigid bodies, elements of analytical dynamics, system analysis, stability, and simulation of dynamical behavior, control of mechanical systems. Demonstrations and laboratory examples. Graduate/Undergraduate Equivalency: MECH 501 . Mutually Exclusive: Cannot register for MECH 411 if student has credit for MECH 501 .
