PORT 206: INTERM PORTUGUESE & BRAZ CULT

Intermediate Portuguese for students who have a very good command of Spanish. This accelerated course covers the equivalent of two semesters of Portuguese. It will focus on developing interactional and intercultural competence in Portuguese to communicate appropriately with Portuguese speakers. Students will also be introduced to the sociocultural aspects of Brazil. Mutually Exclusive: Cannot register for PORT 206 if student has credit for PORT 263/PORT 264.
