MSNE 302: MATERIALS PROCESSING

The course will discuss diverse materials forming processes, including applications for metals, ceramics and polymers. Forming processes from very large to nano scale will be discussed. Emphasis will be understanding how forming processes affect materials properties and how processes are selected based upon the materials and sizes of components being manufactured. Course content will be useful for diverse engineering majors and will be appropriate for sophomores - seniors.
