Introduction to scientific method, principles of experimental design, selected research strategies, record keeping, and technical communication as related to research in cellular and molecular biosciences. The prerequisite BIOS 201 may be taken concurrently with BIOS 211. Sections 001, 002, 003, 004, and 005 are open for declared Biosciences majors; sections 007, 008, 009, 010, and 011, are open for declared BCB minors, or with instructor permission.
