BIOE 533: FUND OF SYSTEMS PHYSIOLOGY

This course will cover aspects of medical physiology from an engineering viewpoint. Physiological systems will be analyzed at the molecular, cellular, tissue, and organismal levels. Graduate students will have an extra submission in their PBL report – 3-5 page Pitfalls and Alternatives Section detailing how the proposed design can fail and the alternative strategies that will be employed to achieve success. Cross-list: BIOE 322. Mutually Exclusive: Cannot register for BIOE 533 if student has credit for BIOE 322.
