The Fundamentals of Biosensors in Medicine course is designed to provide students with the tools to understand the basic parts of a biosensor, including the biorecognition layer, transducer and signal output. During the course, students will be able to design a biosensor according to the proposed application. Specific applications for implantable and wearable biosensors will be discussed.
