LALX 390: LAT AM EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES

This course provides students with a cultural overview of technology and technological development in Latin America. Beyond the conception of the region as “consumer of second-hand technology,” this course will explore alternative views on technology and radical techno-artistic and media projects that integrate Indigenous and Western techno-social solutions to pressing problems.
