MDIA 214: WRITING FILM CRITICISM

How do you transform a powerful reaction to a film into compelling criticism? Designed as a workshop, this course explores the craft of writing film reviews. Through the study of film fundamentals, discussions of diverse films, and close analysis of the work of renowned critics, students will develop their own distinctive voices and build a portfolio of polished film criticism.
