PSYC 433
Occupational health psychology (OHP) is an interdisciplinary subfield of Industrial-Organizational Psychology that examines ways to improve the quality of life of workers by protecting and promoting their health, safety, and well-being. This course will cover theory, research findings, and practical applications of OHP science. Topics include workplace stress, occupational burnout, the work-life interface, workplace safety, employee sleep, and organizational interventions. Recommended Prerequisite(s): PSYC 231 OR PSYC 345 Repeatable for Credit.
