Introduction To Game Theory
This course provides an introduction to game theory, a branch of mathematics that studies decision-making by agents in situations where the outcome for each depends on the actions taken by all. Students will develop a familiarity with analytical tools that have found applications in, for example, economics and other social sciences, biology, computer science, and philosophy. Mutually Exclusive: Cannot register for ECON 205 if student has credit for ECON 300/ECON 305.

Industrial Organization
Economic analysis of monopoly and imperfect competition, with a focus on price discrimination, revenue management, and strategies firms may use to gain and maintain market power. Ideas are developed using a variety of theoretical models. Prior knowledge of game theory (with calculus) is assumed.
