This course will explore color, perception and composition. Color as a phenomenon is one of the most powerful elements in art. It is full of complexities that this course will aim to expose through a series of short and long exercises, assignments, comprehensive lectures, and museum visits.

Senior Studio
Required seminar for all studio track majors. This course is designed to guide the senior major in focused preparation of their work of the annual senior exhibition. Classes will consist of lectures, visits and critiques by artists and curators, and intensive independent studio work. Prerequisites: Students must receive permission from their faculty advisor or department chair to register for this class; only department majors who have senior academic standing will be allowed to register for this course. Repeatable for Credit.
