Spanish Heritage Students III
SPAN 303 aims to bring students to advanced proficiency in Spanish, enabling them to interact confidently in a wide variety of contexts, including academic and professional settings, while providing them with cultural insights about the Hispanic world. It is designed for students who come with heritage exposure in Spanish.
SPAN 323
Medical Practicum
This hybrid course combines practicum hours and course hours (whether face to face or online) for students who are interested in using their Spanish-language skills in professional settings. Practicum working hours to be determined between student and instructor. Effective May 15, 2019, this course does not carry D1 credit. MDHM Minors: if you want SPAN 323 to count towards the Practicum requirement, you need to satisfy these conditions before taking the class: must have completed MDHM 201 and at least 9 credit hours in a humanities discipline or in medical humanities electives. Otherwise, your course will count towards one of the four electives.
