Enrollment is open to all students. Undergraduate enrollment requires instructor permission via special registration form. This course will cover theoretical background and operating principles of optical, electron and X-ray spectroscopy, spectromicroscopy, and scanning probe microscopy from the ensemble to the molecular level.
