The application of probabilistic methods for risk assessment of infrastructure, the subsequent quantification of resilience and sustainability, structural portfolios such as regional portfolios of bridges or oil storage tanks exposed to multiple hazards including earthquakes, hurricanes, or aging and deterioration.

This course provides students with a fundamental understanding of structural analysis and behavior with application to determinate and indeterminate structures. Classical methods of analysis along with an introduction to structural modeling will be examined. Mutually Exclusive: Cannot register for CEVE 325 if student has credit for CEVE 304.
